Jojoba oil comes from the seed of Simmondsia Chinensis, which is a plant that is native to America.
With natural moisturising properties, Jojoba oil is actually a liquid wax rather than an oil. As such, in low temperatures it can become cloudy and will freeze at around 5°C.
It is a very common ingredient in many skin and body care products because it moisturises and contains a natural form of vitamin E. Because it is wax like, it also allows a gentle sealant on skin to protect and nourish.
We use Rose and Jasmine infused Jojoba oil in our aromatherapy range.
